Bourns Extends High Current Shielded Power Inductors by New Compact Size

Bourns Magnetics Product Line is introducing the new Model SRP3212-1R0MR21Mini-molding High Current Shielded Power Inductor in a compact size and low profile of 3.2 x 2.5 x 1 mm.

This inductor is manufactured with a metal alloy powder core and shielded construction featuring high saturation currents, high heating currents, and low magnetic field radiation.

The flat wire construction improves the efficiency of this new model by significantly reducing DCR compared to other similarly sized power inductor devices using conventional wire.

Additionally, the model SRP3212-1R0MR21 is developed for use with Texas Instruments’ Model BQ25638/BQ25638D battery chargers.

With an operating temperature range of -40 to +125 °C, a small footprint and low-profile features, the Model SRP3212-1R0MR21 inductor is well-suited for use in DC-DC converters and consumer electronics.
