Bourns Unveils Compact High Surge Current Disc Varistors

Bourns is pleased to announce its new Model EV Series EdgMOV High Surge Disc Varistors with superior nominal and surge current capabilities.

With nominal surge ratings of 1.5 kA, 3 kA, 5 kA and 8 kA for model sizes 7, 10, 14 and 20 mm respectively, these new offerings allow for replacement of standard conventional MOV devices with one form factor smaller Model EV Series EdgMOV varistors:
